I have joined Peking University (and KIAA)! And immediately, I was fortunate enough to attend a seminar on something most academics don’t do formally, even though they live and breathe it: critically reading scientific literature. The seminar may have been a thinly veiled advertisement for a book, a website, a course, and whatnot, but I think believe it was good enough to prompt me to make some changes to the layout of the reviews I write (or plan to write at) over at PlanetesLAB Reviews .
