Choosing my Chinese Name

As I move to China, I have also chosen a Chinese name: 沙宇仁, read as Shā Yǔrén. (Shā) derives from my family name but also refers to sand or fine grains, in other words, the building blocks of rocky planetesimals. () means the universe and (rén) denotes humaneness or kindness, alluding to the Sanskrit meaning of my given name.
